Playsets 1993 - 1995
The resurgence in interest in Micro Machines generated more playset styles in the mid-90s, however the volume of choices remained lower than in 1989/1990. The creativity of the playsets offered is a reflection of the ingenuity behind Galoob and these years showed the company was still in its prime.

1993 Playsets
Styles like chain-driven playsets for minis, Rip Cord Racers, and Street Corners were added in 1993. Large playsets like the Metro Center and Super Van City made for some large exciting selections on the store shelves. The Micro Village playset was released again in 1993 with the same unusual configuration of cars offered including some rare vehicles. The Roll-Down Showdown was a fun popular addition to the Monster Truck theme.

1994 Playsets
Similar to 1991, a single playset style was offered in 1994 with different playsets to collect. Basically a re-design of the Hiways & Byways line. The entire series is shown below which were collected due to the very pleasing aesthetics of the artwork for the packaging. A re-design of the 1989 Super City playset was released in 1994 as well, but now called the ToolBox City. The box design on the front includes a vehicle from the 1992 Rockin' Wheels Motley Crue set which is interesting to see.

1995 Playsets
Quite a few playsets were released in 1995 now shown here including another re-release of the Hiways & Byways, however, without unique vehicles included, the interest to add them to the collection is less. A few examples will be added later once received though to show the packaging variations. The Radicators playsets do include unique vehicles for the year and all are shown below. The blue submarine is a popular playset among collectors which does not come up for sale too often. 1995 did see the introduction of the Ages and Stages series though which continued into 1996 as well. A pre-production packaging build is included below which uses a non-Galoob cardstock which was typical in the later years. The 7-Eleven playset was a recurring item offered as well in 1995.
