The 2002 Collection
The numbered vehicles continue for this mainline release (Racing Action) which saw a slight resurgence for the Micro Machines brand. While not many sets were released in 2002, the popularity from this year resulted in a strong attempt at sales for 2003. Collections #1 through #4 are very rare, but #5 through #8 are not as difficult to locate. Hasbro Standard green sample tags were found for collections #5 (Future Racers), #6 (Super Chargers), #7 (Speed Demons), and #8 (Super Cabrios) giving known names to those collections, however, the names for collections #1 through #4 are unknown. A multi-pack of 10-vehicles was also released explaining why some of the vehicles are more common than others. None of these sets were released in the USA. A variant set of collection #6 is shown.

2000 Emergency Action Collections
For many years, these lower detail vehicles were shunned by collectors since they were considered cheap by Galoob standards and a sad option for those firmly attached to the previous high quality releases. However, time has made these a sought after group now and lower production has caused collectors to now assign a significant value to the collections. Some of the collections appear less common than others too such as the orange, silver, green, and blue sets. Naming was an unknown for most of the sets until the green Hasbro Standard sample cards were located for #3 (orange; Search & Rescue), #5 (silver; City Police Rescue), #6 (red/white; Air & Sea Rescue), and (green; II Terrain Rescue). A multi-pack of 10-vehicles was also released for this series, but exceptionally rare with only a few known. An error with a missing police car is included below for this multi-pack as well.
