Micro Machines Semi Trucks
Possibly the most popular line of all Micro Machines releases. Semi Trucks had their own dedicated releases from 1989 through 1993, however, nearly all later years had semi trucks also included in the mainline releases.

1989 Semi Truck Collections
Eight collections of semi trucks were released in 1989 with the earlier spring release on the gold insert and the later fall release on the silver insert. Some variations between the semis are noted for the seasonal change including the race cars in collection #3 (Race Team). Updated pictures are planned for this series as well as loose semis. Italian, Canadian, French, Australia, and Japanese sets are shown. An error collection with "GASOLINE" printing missed is shown for collection #1. Only 3 semi collections were released in Japan, but an error with missing front label on the card is shown as well as a race car variation.

1990 Semi Truck Collections
There were 13 different collections of semi trucks released for 1990 with a packaging variation known for collection #3 (Race Team). UK, Italian, and Argentinian sets are shown. Various error collections including off center blister, missing spare wheel on schwimmwagen, incorrect piece assembly for a Race Team set, and collection #7 vehicles on a collection #4 card are displayed. An original case shown was originally found in Paraguay. The 1990 semi collections are incredibly popular and command high bids from collectors typically. Due to the case finds in South America, some collections are considered more common that others. Collections #4, #5, #8, and #9 are extremely rare and missing in most collections. Collections #3, #12 and #13 are very difficult as well, but more possible to locate. Collections #1, #2, #7, #10, and #11 are considered the most common, but still very hard to find. Updated pictures and loose semis are planned soon.

1991 Semi Truck Collections
The 1991 semi truck release was composed of 7 different collections. These were not offered for sale in the USA and are the rarest of the semi truck releases. The focus among collectors is the 1990 semi trucks currently, but only a handful are known of each 1991 set, and as knowledge increases, these are expected to skyrocket in popularity if offered for sale. These are repeats of prior-released semi trucks, but are all made in Indonesia with the chassis marks indicating it on loose vehicles. Production for these sets is thought to be extremely low. No fully sealed NASA set has ever been found from 1991, but this collection shown is original to the blister insert, and the vehicles indicate "INDONESIA" on the bottom. Sets are known from Spain, Italy, and Germany (with English text).

1992 Semi Truck Collections
In 1992, the SHAKE & SNIFF series was released that smelled like the actual loads being carried by the semis. Some of the scents have survived well over the years like vanilla ice cream and Bazooka gum, but others have faded to time like trash and banana. Small holes in the rear of the semis allow the smell to escape from scent beads inside the hollow trailers. And holes in the windows of the packaging also allow the semis to be smelled without opening the package. The USA release sets have a purple blister insert and the European release sets have a blue blister insert. Labels are affixed to some European sets as well indicating warnings and import details. Notice collection #2 with the labels is missing a cab door which is an error. Collections from Italy and Spain are also shown.

1993 Semi Truck Collections
For the final year of semi truck collections, 6 different sets were released. These were considered common in the mid 2000s when a few cases were found with English text in California, but most were opened causing very few to be available today. It appears easier to find the Italian packaging version that English. Still, these collections are rarely offered for sale today in either language making for serious collector interest. The log hauler is different from prior releases, but the other vehicles are all generally the same from 1989 or 1990.

1991 - 2007 Concurrent Mainline and Later Release Semi Truck Collections
In addition to the theme-based semi truck releases, additional semi trucks were offered in mainline collections, playsets, and other theme-based sets. Some semi trucks were offered in multiple years, with bonus vehicles, and different packaging configurations as well. However, just a single example of each is shown below. Additional loose semi truck pictures will be added when the photos are taken since this grouping is incomplete.
